Radiant Runners!
lululemon and Pure Element Pilates are excited to join together to form this amazing club! We decided to create a blog as a forum for members to find additional information about each meeting and other tid bits. Feel free to make comments. We want your feedback!!!
We'll be meeting every Monday starting August 4th at 7pm. The best part about this club is that each week, you can make your run fit your ability level. You do what you can. One Monday you may feel like running 4 miles. The next week, maybe just a half. Guess what? That's O.K. We will make sure you are not alone.
A stretch will be lead after each run. During some of the stretch sessions, we will have experienced athletes and health professionals speaking on topics applicable to our fun run. For example, during our time at Pure Element Pilates, our stretch clinic will take place on the pilates equipment as our speakers engage us on topics like why pilates is so good for short distance running and how to eat for your run.
Cheryl Kerwin will be coming on August 4th at 7:45 during our post-run stretch to talk with us about her experience in marathon running. Cheryl has run 4 full and 13 half marathons. We are excited to have her share her wisdom and she will be available to answer any questions!!
This is an awesome opportunity for anyone looking to get into running, for those experienced runners, and just to meet some great people!
